Raised Access Flooring is a type of floor constructed above the building’s original concrete substructure leaving a space between the two layers to be utilized for electrical, optical, telecommunication, heating & ventilation and mechanical wirings. The floor panels are sitted on pedestals. The Raised Access Flooring is used in data centers, computer rooms, call centers, telecom switch cables, offshore drilling platform motor control centers, server rooms, industrial control rooms, etc. ASD Flooring is classified into AC2 to AC5 according to their resistance to abrasion.
